We will be discussing Service Stack, a modern, clean, open source alternative to WCF for .NET programmers. We will cover its performance characteristics, coding style, and explore a simple coding sample.
Presenter's Bio
Kyle Hodgson is the CTO for KEV Group, a Mississauga ISV developing accounting and online payment software for the K12 market. Kyle is currently the architect for a large scale SaaS payment processing system called SchoolCash Online, in use by hundreds of schools in the U.S. and Canada. Actively involved with the Toronto technology scene, Kyle founded Toronto Code Retreat, a group that encourages developers of all sorts to pair program together to solve problems.
